# Stop publishing descriptions of your work

We've written maybe four "how we do X" posts. Nobody can actually use them. You read it, nod, and then rebuild the whole thing from a screenshot.

The useful unit is the runbook itself: the pages, the sessions, the table, in a form you can fork into your own setup and run on Monday.

Someone did exactly that with our release process this week. Forked it, adapted it, gone. No "great post!" comment, just used.

A description gets read once. The artifact gets used. Publish the artifact.
